Using our services
You agree to use courses legally and ethically, without attempting to breach security or misuse content.
- You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction or have verifiable parental consent.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
- Do not reverse engineer, scrape, index, or otherwise attempt to extract source materials or protected content outside the provided interface.
- Access is granted for personal, non-commercial learning unless a separate written license is provided.
Account and access
Accounts are personal to you. Sharing login details or reselling access is prohibited. We may suspend or terminate access if suspicious, abusive, or unlawful activity is detected.
- We may require identity or payment verification to prevent fraud.
- We may throttle or limit usage to protect service stability.
- If your account is terminated for cause, fees paid are non-refundable.
Acceptable use
You agree not to engage in prohibited conduct, including:
- Harassment, hate speech, or discriminatory behavior.
- Uploading malware, exploiting vulnerabilities, or attempting to bypass security controls.
- Infringing intellectual property rights or privacy rights of others.
- Using automated bots to create accounts, access content, or perform actions without permission.
Payments and refunds
Prices are listed in USD. Where applicable, taxes may be added at checkout. Refunds are available within 14 days if less than 20% of content is completed.
- Payment methods: we accept major credit/debit cards and other locally available methods presented at checkout.
- Billing authorization: by submitting a payment, you authorize us to charge your selected method for the total amount, including taxes.
- Subscriptions: if you enroll in a subscription, it renews automatically at the then-current rate until canceled. You may cancel renewal at any time prior to the next billing date.
- Trials and promotions: trial periods convert to paid plans unless canceled before the trial ends. Promotional pricing applies only for the stated term.
- Refund eligibility: to qualify, you must request within 14 days of purchase and have completed less than 20% of the course or learning path.
- Refund method: approved refunds are returned to the original payment method; processing times vary by provider.
- Chargebacks: contact us first to resolve issues. Unwarranted chargebacks may result in account suspension.
Taxes and pricing
Displayed prices exclude taxes unless stated. Where required, VAT/GST/sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your billing address and applicable law.
- We may update prices and fees for future purchases or renewals.
- Any pricing errors may be corrected and orders canceled or repriced with notice.
Content and intellectual property
All course materials, including text, video, audio, and downloads, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable laws.
- License: we grant a limited, revocable, non-transferable license for your personal learning during the access period.
- Restrictions: do not copy, record, redistribute, sublicense, or publicly display content without written permission.
- User submissions: if you submit feedback or assignments, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use them to operate and improve the services.
Privacy and data
We process personal data to provide and improve services, comply with law, and protect against fraud. Details are described in our Privacy Policy.
- We use technical and organizational measures to secure data, but no method is 100% secure.
- You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information as permitted by law.
Third-party services
Our services may interoperate with third-party tools or payment providers. We are not responsible for third-party terms, policies, or actions.
- Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
- We may replace or discontinue third-party integrations without liability.
Disclaimers
Courses are for educational purposes and not a substitute for professional diagnosis or treatment. Emergency situations require contacting local services immediately.
- The services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- We do not warrant that content will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that results will meet your expectations.
- Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties; to that extent, these exclusions may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the services.
- Our aggregate liability for all claims related to the services will not exceed the amounts paid by you to us during the six months preceding the event giving rise to liability.
- These limitations apply even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your breach of these terms or misuse of the services.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these terms, engage in fraud or abuse, or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the services ceases and provisions intended to survive will remain in effect.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of your country of residence if you are a consumer, or otherwise by the laws of the jurisdiction where Graycliff Psychology is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
- Dispute resolution: parties will first attempt to resolve disputes informally within 30 days before initiating formal proceedings.
- Where permitted, disputes will be resolved in the courts of the governing jurisdiction described above.
Consumer rights
Nothing in these terms is intended to limit statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived by contract. If you are in the EU, UK, or other regions with mandatory consumer protections, those rights apply.
Children’s use
The services are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
